Wahoo Man Faces 10 Counts Of Child Pornography

WAHOO, Nebraska - An arrest has been made in a case dating back to December of 2017. That is when the Nebraska State Patrol started investigating a child pornography case after receiving a tip.

6 News reports that William Sloup of Wahoo is now facing ten counts of distributing explicit child pornography.

Investigators found pictures and videos on his phone and conversations with others about his sexual interest in children. There are a number of explicit details in the arrest affidavit. One included a video in a chat room where others were involved. That case is was discovered by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the status of the others taking part is not yet known.

If convicted, Sloup could be sentenced to between 30 to 500 years in prison.
