Funding Approved For Habitat For Humanity Project

OMAHA, Nebraska - The Omaha City Council today approved a $269,000 tax increment financing plan for Habitat for Humanity. 6 News reports they plan to redevelop twelve properties.

The project will be from 16th to 23rd Street between Sahler and Pratt. Work on the first eight houses is expected to start this fall.

The houses are for lower income homebuyers.
