Arrest Made In Deadly February Crash

SARPY COUNTY, Nebraska - An arrest has been made in a deadly accident on February 9th in Sarpy County.

Investigators say a car rear-ended a vehicle on I-80 and the Highway 370 entrance ramp. 67 year old Nabil Shokai's vehicle had stalled in the center traffic lane and was hit by a vehicle driven by 25 year old Kenisha Prentice. Shokai later died at a hospital and a passenger was airlifted to a hospital.

On March 17th, Sarpy County Sheriff deputies arrested Prentice and she was booked on a number of charges that include motor vehicle homicide and DUI causing serious bodily injury. Investigators say her blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.
