Layoffs are coming to the University of Nebraska at Omaha and the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Campus officials say nine employees at the two institutions will be laid off this year. In addition, 63 jobs at the UNO will be impacted by budget cuts, and one-fourth of those jobs are vacancies that will go unfilled.
The University of Nebraska system is facing a 43-million-dollar budget cut over the next three years.
