If you see smoke billowing out of downtown Papillion on Wednesday, don't be alarmed.
In a Facebook post, the City of Papillion said that controlled burn training for the Papillion Fire Department will be conducted near downtown. The city says the owner of the property at 430 W. Lincoln Street has given the department the okay to burn down an old house on the property before a new home is built.
