Omaha Police officers happened to be at a hospital when they were told of a stabbing victim in the emergency room.
59 year old Zachary Bazer ended up with non-life threatening injuries.
He told the officers he was at a home near 16th and Carter Blvd. around 9:30 Wednesday evening when he was assaulted and stabbed by another man.
The investigation continues.
