Bellevue Police identify victim and suspect in Monday homicide

The teen killed in a Monday shooting in Bellevue has been identified.

Bellevue Police say 17 year old Bellevue East student Kalani Zalopany was found shot to death at a home near 31st Ave and Calhoun just after 12:00 Monday afternoon. Investigators say later that night, two suspects were taken into custody in connection to Zalopany's death.

BPD says 18 year old Davion Snider and a 16 year old male were both charged with First Degree Murder, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony and Robbery. Snider was booked into Sarpy County Jail, while the 16 year old was taken to the Douglas County Youth Center.
