Big Ten Tells Big Red "No"

There are reports a hastily arranged Nebraska football game with Tennessee-Chattanooga for Saturday will not be played.

The "Chattanooga Times Free Press" reports the Huskers had set up a game with the "Mocs" in Lincoln to replace this Saturday's game with Wisconsin, which was canceled because of coronavirus among the Badgers.

But, the Big Ten Council of Chancellors and Presidents Thursday morning voted "no" to the game, according to the "Times Free Press," which cites a source in the U-T-C Athletic Department.

Tennessee-Chattanooga competes in the "Football Championship Subdivision."
