High Winds, Snow And Blizzard Talk To End The Work Week

A Wind Advisory runs to Noon Friday for east central, northeast and southeast Nebraska, including the Omaha/Council Bluffs Metro area and Lincoln, but light snow is also featured tonight, expected to move south down the Missouri River and I-29 corridor.

The winds and snow lead to the possibility of blizzard conditions especially east of the Metro.

Omaha National Weather Service meteorologist Scott Dergan tells KFAB Radio News a Blizzard Warning goes into effect late tonight for areas north and east of Omaha/Council Bluffs.
