Man shot in South Omaha while turning around in a driveway

(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha Police say a man was shot early Friday morning while turning around in a South Omaha driveway.

OPD says just before 12:30 Friday morning, officers were called to a home near 42 and M to take a report about a shooting that had occurred somewhere near 36th and Monroe. Police say a walk-in shooting victim arrived at the Nebraska Medicine shortly after officers took the report. Investigators say the victim, 23 year old Maguy Agau, told officers that he was in his vehicle, turning around in a driveway somewhere near 36th and Monroe Street, when he heard gunshots and realized he had been hit.

Agau's injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening.
