According to a tweet from the association, the Board of Directors of the "Nebraska School Activities Association" has voted 8-0 to keep the 2021 NSAA Girls & Boys State Basketball Championships in Lincoln.
The tweet also said the governing body will move to a 5-day format for the tournaments, and that fans should "stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks."
There had been talk and speculation the tournaments could be moved out of the Capital City for attendance and financial reasons this year because of Directed Health Measures in place in Lincoln because of Covid-19.
