Council Bluffs Police say a person was hospitalized in the drive-by shooting outside "Ameristar Casino."
Police and paramedics were called to the scene just after 2 a.m. Monday.
Police say the victim, who is expected to survive, told investigators he was walking in the lot when a dark SUV drove up and he was hit in the addomen by a shot fired from the vehicle.
This investigation is ongoing by the Criminal Investigation Division.
