Papillion Days to return for 2021 in June

(Papillion, NE) -- Papillion Days are back in 2021 for its 74th year.

The Papillion Community Foundation says this year's event will celebrate the 150th Birthday of the City of Papillion. Organizers say the theme for this year’s event is “Honoring Our Journey, Celebrating Our Wings.” The celebration will feature the carnival, parade, Market in the Park, fireworks and live entertainment. Papillion Days was recently named one of America’s Top 10 small festivals by Readers Digest.

Papillion Days will run June 17th-20th. This year’s event kicks off on Thursday June 17th in City Park, Downtown Papillion starting at 4:45 p.m. with an official kickoff ceremony and butterfly release. The Carnival and Market in the Park will open on Thursday at 5 p.m. and will run until 10 p.m.

Discounted wristbands will be available for pre-sale purchase and can be used for either Thursday OR Sunday carnival fun. All presale wristbands must be purchased online at www.papilliondays.org between June 1-12, 2021.
