When the Douglas County Fair left Waterloo because the property was sold, to ME that was the end of the fair. I went once downtown just to see if it was still a fun time. It wasn't. The CHI Health Center is a wonderful venue for so many fun and great events. The DC Fair just wasn't one of them. Now that it is back in Waterloo with all the fun of small town living like submitting your apple pie hoping for a blue ribbon, or raising a calf to show in the livestock... it's all here.
