Omaha Police Investigate Late Monday Night Shooting

Omaha Police say officers went to 62nd and Park Lane Drive north of Ames Ave. on a report of a shooting.

Investigators determined three males were standing outside a residence, when two other males approached them and began shooting.

Police say 19-old Ethan Stewart-Whitney and 35-year-old Commodore Perkins were both hit by the gunfire and taken to the hospital by private vehicle.

Stewart-Whitney sustained life threatening injuries, according to police, while Perkins's injuries are not life threatening.
