Omaha Police Investigate Early Thursday Shooting

Around 2:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to 15th and Willis Ave. on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found the victim, 48-year-old Derrell Bogan, suffering from apparent gunshot injuries.

A rescue squad took Bogan to a hospital, where it was determined his injuries were non-life-threatening. The investigation is ongoing.
