Investigators say 45-year old Tara Boice of Omaha was crossing 13th Street from west to east at Arbor when she was hit by a southbound SUV, which police say did not stop.
The woman was taken to a hospital with serious injuries that were eventually determined to be non-life threatening.
Witnesses told officers the "run" vehicle was a newer, white SUV, with black roof rails, black wheels, and tinted windows.
