(Papillion, NE) -- An Omaha police officer pleads no contest to charges stemming from an incident in Sarpy County.

Court documents say that in April, Officer Ja'Price Spears chased down two teenagers that banged on his door in the middle of the night. He was charged with disturbing the peace after he pulled a gun on one teenager and got physical with the other.

The Sarpy County Attorney's office says Spears handcuffed the teens and roughed them up before he called the sheriff's office. He was ordered to nine months of probation and counseling sessions, with a deferred judgment.

Spears remains on administrative leave.
