OPD asks public for help in identifying possible sexual assault suspect

(Omaha, NE) -- The Omaha Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a possible sexual assault suspect.

The Omaha Police Special Victims unit is attempting to identify the person in the video below, who may be a suspect in a sexual assault that occurred on Saturday, November 6th in the area of 109th and Maple Street. The video shows what appears to be a black male, approximately 5'8"-5'9" with a slim skinny build, facial hair and possible short braids looking into a residence. Police say the suspect is believed to be armed with a handgun.
