(Omaha, NE) -- One person is killed and two others are injured in a West Omaha four-vehicle crash.
Omaha Police say the crash was reported at 144th and El Dorado Drive, just north of West Dodge, around 11:00 Monday morning. Police say the initial investigation shows that three southbound vehicle were stopped at a red light when a speeding pickup truck crashed into them from behind.
Investigators say an 80-year-old woman was killed in the crash. Police have not released her name. Two other drivers involved in the crash were taken to Bergan Mercy Hospital in serious condition. OPD says that speed and lack of seat belts are both factors at this time. No other details have been released at this time.
