(Omaha, NE) -- The death of a five year old child is being investigated by the Omaha Police Department as suspicious.
Investigators say around 2:30 Wednesday afternoon, officers were called the the CHI Health-Creighton University Medical Center at 24th and Cuming for a report of an unresponsive child. Police say the child was pronounced dead and that their death is considered suspicious.
A woman has been arrested in connection to the child's death, which remains under investigation by OPD’s Child Victims Squad. No other details have been provided at this time.
