(Lincoln, NE) -- Freshman Husker basketball standout Bryce McGowens is leaving the program to enter the 2022 NBA draft.
McGowens made the announcement on Monday. During the 2021-2022 season he averaged 16.8 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. He also earned All-Big Ten third-team honors and was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week eight times.
The NBA draft will be held June 23 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
