(Hastings, NE) -- High winds on Thursday cause semis to overturn on Nebraska roadways.

The Nebraska State Patrol says that multiple semis have overturned on I-80 in central Nebraska due to the winds. The NSP says blowing dust is also causing visibility issues for drivers. The state patrol suggests that people with high profile vehicles find a safe place to park during peak winds.

Wind gusts in Hastings reached 61 miles per hour around 12:00 Thursday afternoon.
