Police searching for suspect in northwest Omaha credit union robbery

(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha Police are searching for a man they say robbed a northwest Omaha credit union.

OPD says just before 1:30 Wednesday afternoon, the suspect went into the Metro Credit Union near 108th and Maple, took an undetermined amount of money and left on foot reportedly to the northeast. Investigators say the suspect is described as a black male in his 30s, medium to large build, approximately 6’1-6’3, wearing a black ball cap, plaid long-sleeve shirt and surgical style of mask.
